Cyperum – Bridging the Gap

Cyperum is a game I designed and built for a seminar called bridging the gap. We had about a week and a half to make it. The goal of the seminar was to bridge the gap between Music & Technology students and students from other majors. As such with me coming from Games & Interaction we build a game that incorporated interesting musical interactions. The result was Cyperum, a relaxing sandbox game in which the players walks around and searches for colored blocks. These blocks can be placed on a central platform after which they will affect the music. Each color controls a different part of the music and the more blocks of a certain color are added the more intense that part of the music becomes. Ultimately it’s meant to be a fun and somewhat relaxing experience. You can find it here: https://flattlinee.itch.io/cyperum
