Although I don’t current I’ve been daily driving Linux distro’s on and off for about 10 years. I really like linux. I’m very comfortable using terminals to do things like editing files or managing packages. For a while I was really into Minecraft server hosting as well and I managed servers for several people all of which ran on Linux machines. During my MBO Application- and Media-Development studies I got classes in building websites, managing databases and building network infrastructure. I’ve also written low level network code for some games so I have a good understanding of how packets work. I can set up Routers, Servers, Websites, etc. From NAS servers to network infrastructure. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert in any of those things but I have a good understanding of how they work and what it takes to implement them.
